WHAT IS THE ANDALUCIAN ECOLOGICAL AGRICULTURE COMMITTEE?

The C.A.A.E. -Farms
-Agri-food industries
-Importers from non-EC countries

Promotion:The promotion and publicising of ecological production with the aim of achieving market expansion is amongst its specific functions.

Training: It also has a Training, Dissemination and Research department which brings out publications and organises training activities for farmers and technicians.

Reasons for producing and consuming Eco-Products

-Prevention of erosion and contamination of land and water by agriculture.

-The use of organic fertilizers notably improves the fertility of the land.

-A balance is achieved amongst the agricultural ecosystems through plant and animal biodiversity, crop association and the use of beneficial insects to combat crop pests.

-We collaborate in order to preserve the richness of the Andalucian countryside and the varied ecosystems making it up.

-We produce food free from chemical residues, with less water and more dry matter content, which is why it is healthier and tastes better.

-And the excellent health of our organic farmers and of the people who consume their products is another good reason, as eco-products are of supreme quality and are becoming synonymous with a guarantee of health and nutrition.
